Hey guys, I’m Jasmyn — but you can call me Jazz!
I’m a southern belle, born in Tennessee. But Tennessee wouldn’t be the only state I’d live in…
My dad (Gerald Wilkins) had a busy career in the NBA playing for the New York Knicks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Vancouver Grizzlies, and the Orlando Magic. When my dad retired, we landed in Atlanta, where my uncle, Dominque Wilkins (yes, he’s my uncle too) was playing for the Hawks.
But hey, enough about them — I was also an athlete too! I played basketball and lacrosse, ran cross-country, and was captain of the varsity track and field team.
You could say I dabbled in the beauty side of things, too — I was Miss Georgia in the 2012 Miss USA pageant where I landed fourth place.
On to college — I started at Clemson University (Go Tigers!) in South Carolina and graduated at Georgia State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
Now I’m chasing my dream as a model! I work with Next Models Miami, ONE.1 NYC and Factor Chosen Los Angeles.
You may have seen my picture circulating because I’m up for Rookie of the Year for the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition! If so, throw a vote your girl’s way!
I’m excited to write on The Coaches’ Daughters now and I hope you enjoy what I have to say!
