LONDON CALLING!
When I say London calling, I mean, London was literally calling my name.
I have been in London for the past month working and I can honestly say it has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life! When I first entertained the idea of living here for the summer, naturally the words rain, tea and red buses came to mind.
Well, and get him to the Greek of course.
I had visited London before but hadn’t really seen London.
This time around, I have my own “flat” with flatmates, British friends and I am really experiencing the city for all it has to offer.
Instead of spending hours and days walking through tourist attractions like herds of cattle, I am taking boats through Little Venice, hanging out in local pubs, going to concerts and even went to Amsterdam a few weekends ago for Kings Day.
And don’t even get me started on the night life. We’re talking clubs galore and some serious bass bumping.
It’s crazy how you can travel the world and go to new countries, but never really see them. I am not the kind of person who just gets up and moves to a new country, but I am very grateful that this opportunity presented itself and I am able to see what it is like to live in another country.
Don’t get me wrong though, man do I miss my Tex-Mex and Krispy Kreme. #USA
