Drink of the week: Two Super Bowl Sippers

Attention all boys and babes — are you ready for some football?

Well, I definitely am!

Other than watching some of the most talented players fight for a coveted championship ring, I’m here for the booze.

For those of you hosting your first ever Super Bowl party and are wondering what are the best drinks to serve, I got you covered! These two drinks are crowd pleasers and super simple to make.

Even you ladies and gents looking for a lighter drink — I got you covered, too.

Here’s two of my favorite drinks I’ll be sipping on this Super Bowl Sunday…

The TD dance

*         1 liter vodka

*         Three 12-ounce bottles beer (recommended: Corona)

*         Three 6-ounce containers frozen limeade, thawed

*         Three 1-liter bottles club soda

*         3 limes, sliced into wheels

*         Ice, for serving

*         Lime wedges, for garnish

Add the vodka, beer, limeade, and club soda to a large serving container and mix well. Add lime wheels and pour into tall tumblers filled with ice. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and serve.

Skinny blitz

*         2-ounce Olmeca Altos Blanco tequila

*         .75-ounce agave nectar

*         .75-ounce lime juice

Combine ingredients in shaker. Shake and strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and black salt.

Easy as that!

Get these babies shaken and stirred and you’ll be sipping easy by game time.

Now go get your drink and game on!
